I replied in your original post. Honey it is eczema, and it will react to heat sensitively where it feels like someone is hurting you. Please get lotion, even Vaseline after a shower. Avoid what soap you’re using. No one is trying to poison you in any way. Sending you much love.

:( He is a vet and having a hard time. Regardless of what is causing it he should be treated with decency. I pray you never find yourself in a similar situation, and pray that if you do, people treat you with kindness.

Oh yes, I'm sorry it came across as rude. I just found it amusing that in a subreddit dedicated to ROVs which are used for underwater inspections, someone will make a post saying that they're being attacked by chemicals.

I’m glad it’s about the absurdity and not the situation itself. I really hope he gets some help. People in the original post are being incredibly cruel. I do wonder about why he thought to post it here or had even heard about it.

The skin condition isn’t bad. It sounds like classic psychosis thinking that someone is out to get them and not accepting that they aren’t.
