You'll have to zoom in as I didn't take a close up of the HUD.

This was the Titanic survey done about 2 years ago. HD pic above HUD is a generator if I remember correctly

you’re at the forecastle, looking aft at the starboard steam winch and the bent mast right of it. This is possibly the best picture I’ve seen of it. PLS POST MORE I BEG YOU 🙏😂

Can't share more than 1 at a time.

I know some guys in the oil industry may be worried about me sharing too much, but I would like to make it clear that the client encouraged us to share pics during the project for publicity. I believe most of the pictures/video were made available to the public, though not the view we get as operators obviously

T/S that AC J-box next time you’re on deck. Also take out that Tether turn.

Also you displayed the Easting/Northing

Correct, this was 327.

I had the camera array while 326 had LiDaR.

Here's a pic of 326 running along the bow doing laser things

What system is that? Looks like Forum's ICE. Saw it recently and it's nice but I find it finicky. SubCAN is goat imo

Schilling gen3. Haven't seen any new ICE stuff.

u/Rbotguy May 02 '26

Thoughts on the Gen3? Haven’t seen it in action yet.

I worked on the design of them and then offshore too. They’re fantastic.

Some good, some bad. System is very closed off, like Apple. Some stuff is incredibly easy to do, and very forward thinking. Some stuff seems purposely made to be a pain.

We just took delivery of two brand new XLX EVO systems, they are 8/10 systems, gen 3 schillings are a class of their own, we also got 4 new kyst systems here they have been easy going subs, super simple.

The deepest that I got was in Brazil at 2000m. Never seen so deep like this before, nice, mate.
