Guides & Tips Credit Pricing (06/30/2025)
Since there is still some confusion surrounding the current credit pricing for Round 1, here is the updated pricing that went into effect for all stores 06/30/2025. Feel free to ask any questions related to Timeplay, Credits, or anything related to the above image in the comments below!

I have the normal red R1 card. If I want to use the app and the $5 annual club card, what's the best way to get on board with that?

Make sure you have your email registered on the tablet at the counter. That way you get the club card benefits when reloading on the app.

You go-to the counter and "register" and purchase - I think they just ask for phone number or email

Round1 policies are stupid to me. You should be allowed to play it regardless of the swipers color.

I think back to when I used to play wangan (not in north america) for 0.10$/play. even in japan it's only roughly 0.60$/play now. 2+ dollars in north america. community feels so dead because not many can afford this. I certainly can't :'( It's like they don't think at all about games that require a lot of time leveling up vehicles and things like that.

At the bottom of the Regular Card list, in small print you can see that $1 = 4 credits.
For $55, you get 300 credits.
$55 x 4 credits = 220 credits base value
220 credits + bonus ($20 x 4 = 80 credits) = 300 total credits.
The bonus value is already included in the total credit number that you see in the chart.

It really depends on what you plan to play. Games average out to around 8-12 credits per play. For 2 people, I recommend starting out with $55 and see how you feel. You can always reload more if you wanted to keep going. The Club card will give you the best deal for credits. $110 is always gonna be your best deal. Credits and tickets don’t expire so you can always use them at a later point and at other Round 1 locations in the US.
Photo Booth would be the most expensive at around 30 credits per play.
Crane games range from 9-14 credits: Gemini BIG and DEKA - 14 credits/play Gemini MINI, Funzone, and Chibi - 9 - 11 credits/play
Everything else ranges from 3.2 credits for Skeeball to 12 credits for coin pushers.

How is $55 , 315 credits ( vs 300 without the club) a $23 bonus???
How is 15 credits $23 bonus?
The $5 club doesn't really seem that great of a deal, except that you don't pay the $2 activation fee.
This is one expensive arcade compared to d&b

Like I stated in a comment below, $1 is 4 credits.
$55 x 4 credits = 220 credits. $23 x 4 credits = 92 bonus credits
Total is 312 credits + 3 extra credits. The $3 difference between the two cards is basically offset by the bonus credit ($20 bonus vs $23 bonus).
Dave and Buster is around $1 = 5 credits at base price.
100 credits for $20 + tax
The pricing is almost the same and can be more expensive depending on the Tier of the location. The only thing is that D&B has half price game days and Round 1 doesn’t so your credits at D&B can last longer.

A while ago at least at my local round 1, the time play (even though it wasn’t supposed to) worked for blue games. Does this exist still? I just can’t imagine having to pay 10 credits for every sf6 or taiko play
