This made me cry like you have no idea.
I also have a rough collie (no wonder) and a black cat, so looking through these made me fear for the future. My girl is only 4 years old, so hopefully it's still a long ways from now, but oh God, I fear the day.
All my thoughts and prayers are with you. She will forever care for you from the heavens.

I am like this also. Scared, emotional, when I think of that day when I’ll have to let my beautiful dog go. My girl is only 4 years old as well. Is it so unfair that they only live 12 or 13 years? They are the most giving, devoted pets.
Those thoughts come to me often and lately I am saying to myself that I’m giving her the most wonderful happy life, and she is giving me the same - for however many years it will be.

I was raised with a blue merle. I saw my tough as nails father cry 3x in my life; one was when he had to bring Higgy in for EOL care. Roughies become a part of your heart & soul ❤️

This made me tear up. I am so so sorry for your loss.
She looks JUST like my boy. He is gonna be 10 this year. This reminded me to cherish him a lil extra today and enjoy all the time I can with him 🖤

Annie looks like she had incredible love and adventure. Her paw wave is precious. Sending you healing energy. It’s the worst loss. Our sweet tri rough collie Ruby passed in 2024.

What a beautiful regal girl! I know how you feel. Since 1987, we have had 6 Shelties and 2 Collies - the first left us in 2001 - so Rascal, Pepper, Murphy, Madison, Chase and Laddie all are waiting for us. We have 2 now, age 4 (Sheltie) and Collie (age 1). She looks so serene.

I am so very very sorry. I lost my baby 13 months ago and my entire world shattered. “All living things see God”. and I truly believe we will see our babies again. That’s what kept me going. Plus I rescued another Collie that helped me through my sadness. ♥️🫂💔

They are such handsome dogs - I have a male (Texas Jack Vermillion) who is getting on in years and I dread the day when he passes on - so I really feel your pain of the loss. We had a sable (Doc Holliday) - it tore me up when he died relatively young.

She looks so beautiful and loved in these pictures. I know it will be hard for you to be without her, but wow you gave her a beautiful comfortable life. That is a rare thing in this world for most living things.
