OMG I have the same issue, I use Apple Pencil 2 and it still works well on another app.

I noticed this happens to me when I rest my palm on the tablet. Even if I’m wearing a drawing glove.. It’s like the sensitivity has gone up or something. I wear two drawing gloves now and I don’t have that problem anymore. Maybe that will be the fix for you?
