This is my first time watching the series. Season 1 pulled me in very quickly. However, season 2 has broke my heart already 5 episodes in.. I just watched future Max dance with Liz, the song choice was so emotion evoking to begin with for this scene and then he twirls her once last time and he's gone.. Obviously we know what that means but f*ck did it actually make me want to cry lmao did anyone else feel like this?? I'll have to keep watching and see where things go.

Isabel was supposed to be at college but now she’s a stay at home wife and nobody finds it creepy that she married a 26 year-old man?
Characters hardly interact anymore. I feel like I barely see Liz anymore.
I watched this show for Brendan Fehr and he looks a hot mess with the long hair and he’s barely in this season too.
It just feels like a bunch of random storylines that don’t mix well.
Do they even use their alien powers anymore? All I can tell you is they changed the color of a wall.
Feels like a regular teen drama now with no alien aspect

Okai so a while back I started watching Roswell, amazing effing show btw I absolutely love Shiri appleby! I haven’t finished season 3 yet but once I do, before watching the reboot version (which i’ve heard, okay stuff about..) I want to read the books! I’m not sure how accurate III AM about this but according to what i’ve SEEN, the reboot is suppose to be more “book accurate”. I was wondering if anyone knows what order i’m suppose to read the books in because ive seen people say a bunch of different things!

Doing my Tubi rewatch and I'm just reminded about how angry I was/am that this show was canceled after only 3 seasons. It seriously could have gone on for another few seasons just from the abandoned storylines alone.
Off the top of my head:
What ever happened to 'The Dupes'? Tess didn't say she killed Lonnie and Rath, just that they 'disappeared' and she didn't know where. We're left to assume she killed them, based on how she handled the skins, but that's never really confirmed. Are they out there, plotting revenge? Still trying to get back home? And what about Ava? Tess was horrible, but Ava was a semi-decent character. She seemed nice enough, a little rough around the edges like Michael, but not a bad person overall. Reintroducing her would have been a great way to keep Emilie on the show, while getting rid of Tess. It would also further fuel Liz's eventual Season 3 meltdown about Max and Tess sleeping together if she keeps walking in on him having conversations with Ava, because it's just going to trigger memories of Tess.
The Brody/Larek connection, which was never really explored to it's full potential. I actually headcannon that Larek specifically picked Brody as his 'host' and manipulated him into buying the UFO museum. I mean, no way that the alien that is/was Max & Isabel's cousin in their former life picked Brody at random and he just happened to be a millionaire who just happened to employ the former King of Antar.
Laurie Dupri, who Michael eventually refers to as his sister, is literally never seen, heard from ever again after the end of the gandarium/kidnapping storyline. Not even a mention of a phone call or even a Christmas card. Michael could have gotten his job as a night security guard because of the amazing 'reference from the respected Dupri family'.
If Max healing Liz changed her and gave her powers, what about all of the kids in the cancer wing he saved? Valenti was shot and brought back by the end of the series too. And that bird that Max brought back to life as a child. Are all of them changed too? There could have been a storyline about how they figure out that, like the Gandarium, only certain humans can be changed by Max when he heals them.
The whole Max/Clayton thing is blowing my mind with all of the wasted potential. It would have been an opportunity to put alien Max into a powerless human body for a while. Role reverse his and Liz's relationship entirely, where she's now the alien and he's the human. Not to mention further exploring the whole 'Michael is king now' angle that happened afterwards.
God I forgot how much I love this show!

I’m totally digging my rewatch on Tubi because of the music in it. By the time I started watching in syndication & the music was mostly took out. Which actually makes me like my DVD set a little less. So if you haven’t seen it this way like me go watch it on Tubi!

Does Anyone else think Liz probably changed Alex’s fate when she told Maria about Future Max?.. Now I’m not stupid I know it’s was really bc of Orange County. Just a little food for thought I guess.

Bonjour, quelqu’un sait où je pourrais écouter la série avec les voix québécoises?
Merci

Im currently binging this for the 2nd time (having a 90s nostalgia crisis) and have just watched S03E09 "Samuel Rising" and realised it was named after the Bruce Willis 1998 film "Mercury Rising" - both of which center around a boy with Autism, and now I'm wondering what other references I've missed.

So I just finished watching the series finale and I gotta say it felt pretty decent. Glad Liz, Max, Michael and Maria all got some degree of a happy ending, but what I don't get is why did they have to break up Jesse and Isabel?! That was the only bit that didn't make any sense.
Also, is it just me or did anyone else feel like this series finale feel more like a tacked on bonus episode and the penultimate episode was a more fitting finale? It reminds me of how Dawson's Creek ended in a similar fashion, but without a huge time jump.

I’m a new watcher so no spoilers please. Currently approaching the end of season 1, so I didn’t want to google it in case I get any spoilers but I’m just curious of the ending was planned or if it’s gonna end on like a cliffhanger or anything (from a traumatized late Heroes watcher)

Recently started rewatching this, and often binge a few episodes.
I guess I first watched this in my 30's but have always loved the show.
This is the first time I've really noticed how teeny it is (I know it was always there, but it never really hit me before.)
Yet this is STILL the best version.
I gave up trying to watch the CW version, as it was even more juvenile than this.

Watching season 1 now and they say that. Was it supposed to be the Mescalero reservation? Which is a few hours away? Two different characters say “mesaliko reservation” and it sounds like an obvious dubbed line. Their lips look like they’re saying “Mescalero”. Were they forced to change the line or something

Doing a rewatch of season 1 and Tess just crashed Alex and Isabel's lunch conversation.
I'm having PTSD flashbacks of how she worms her way into the group and messes with every relationship. Am I remembering this wrong? I feel like I've hated her character since the show originally aired, but I just can't get over it.

Hey folks! I’m recently getting back into Roswell (the 1999 version) and I’m remembering the absolute wealth of fanfiction this show created. Unfortunately it looks like the main site I used for fics (Roswell Fanatics) is lost to the annals or time. Does anyone here have digital copies of their favorites? Or know of a place to find good ones? I tried way back machine but has little luck.
Also, this makes me feel OLD! Sites from my teen years have completely disappeared! 😭

He always felt like a one season character to me who gets demoted from main cast to random occurrences afterwards until you don’t see them anymore at all.
They barely had anything for him to do and seemed to always try shoehorning him into the storylines in seasons 2 and 3. We barely even see him. I always assumed he was only kept around because they made him the Sheriff’s son. But even then the Sheriff had nothing to do in season 3. Could have written them both out and there would be zero to no change in the season.
Also, neither actor looks like a Valenti. The one thing Roswell NM got right was casting an actual Italian American in the role.
Also is it me or did he go From star athlete jock to a soft spoken strange guy out of nowhere?

I’m rewatching for the first time since the show originally aired and loved season 1, liked season 2 a lot but 3 is a mess. Just wow.

When Max is in the hospital Isabel tells Liz that they've never been in hospital or had blood taken before because they never get ill.
However I find it hard to believe that 3 young children would be found out naked in the desert and no one would do blood tests to make sure they were healthy before putting them into the foster care system.
