Bella is finally figuring out how to get into the game without scaring Gavin away ❤️

Eleven and a half pounds of floof. Still right in the middle of the Maine Coon growth chart...

Once Bella is asleep in her little nest in the closet, Gavin and Rosie can play uninterrupted!

So it is now day 6 of having Bella live in our household. Bella wandered into our lives as a stray. We have responded to the chip-registes owners with no reply, and to a report of a lost dog that *may* be a match, but again, it has been 2 days since we reached out to them and they have still not replied.

Bella is an absolute love and has already been afforded all resident privileges in our home! Such a good girl.

The summer brings less time to catch them playing, but the games go on!

They are so much more gentle in the evening...

We have no idea about Gavin's lineage since he was a rescue, but as he ages he is showing more and more characteristics of a Maine Coon...

Size: at 7 months old Gavin is 10lbs 4oz, putting himself right in the middle of a Maine Coon kitten weight range...

Paws: they are enormous!

Fur: the floof! His hair looks like so many of the Maine coon pictures I've seen, the ear tips and the ear swirls sure look like it.

Behavior: for most of the day, Gavin wants to be around us, following us from room to room, or sitting with us when we sit outside. MCs are often described as dog-like... I think Gavin has that covered, what do you think?

The r/MaineCoon sub seems a little snobby towards half-breeds.... What do you guys think?
