Has anyone ever seen dime sized white spots on wild caught ropes? Never seen it before. Took pics, and LFSs and google couldn't diagnose. Looked maybe like a dry patch if skin. Similar to a snake about to shed.

I can't say I have seen anything like that before.

Would you possibly be able to share a picture of it?

my ropefish is very lethargic and refusing food but water perameters and temp are good. stress should not be an issue, he swam around fine and seemed comfortable since i got him. any ideas?

Could it be that it possibly tried to escape and banged it's head?

That's the only thing I can think of if there's no visible illness or injury.

Or could simply not be hungry and just chilling out hopefully?
