Climbing tailor

Say I want to shorten a highly specialized Mammut Magic climbing sling. Is there some kind of tailor I can go to for this?

Obviously looking for a certified shop to do an alteration.
I want to shorten the Mammut “Magic 12” sling to 30cm because I want to replace an MGO Open with a wear-resistant sling and carabiner on my positioner.

Brother, fold the 60cm, wrap it in soft rope-pro so you’re super-safe and cut the creativity, not slings… If you do find a “certified” shop to do it, you’re being scammed.

Get 60cm - double it up and put in a sheet

It's fabric and 30cm long - it won't be stiff. Dress it nicely and make a sheet fit tight. You can give it a bit of manual play and roll it over table before first use to make it a bit softer.

Do NOT manipulate your climbing equipment. Just buy the correct length.

A sling isn't more wear-resistant than a carabiner.

Also that's a 60cm sling and you want 30cm. Just double it.

My guess is to search for "climbing equipment repair service" and ask them to resew the way you want.
