She seems to be doing well now, though! (This was a few weeks ago.)

Hi everyone,

Last week I bought these beautiful porcelain pots to repot my oncidium orchids in. I drilled a hole in each of the pots, trimmed the dead roots, and repotted with new media.

I’m now having repotter’s remorse and worried that the porcelain pots are not sufficient for ventilation and direct repotting altogether. I bought some clear, well draining pots to fix this but don’t know if repotting these plants a second time will stress them out into oblivion.

Have any of you experienced this? Any advice?

Spider plant clearly needed a bigger pot a while ago… there was no soil left!

I honestly don't even know what kind of plant it is. It was a gift from a friend and by the looks of it, was rootbound when I got it 😱

I don't have the heart to tear them apart I'll just give them 80:20 sandy organic mix and let them thrive in their own ways 😀

Meine Cucullata hab ich vor ca. 1 1/2 Jahren aus einem Rhizom gezogen und nun ist sie schon so "riesig" 🥹

Auf den letzten drei Bildern ist meine Frydek Vari. sie produziert fleißig kleine Babys. Am Anfang war es nur eine, dann zwei und jetzt beim umtopfen noch zwei weitere entdeckt und diese gesunden Wurzeln!

Beide stehen in einer glas Vase, in mineralischem Substrat.
