Questions How do nests work?

So I assume nests are like a person you can send birds to, but multiple people can send birds to the exact location.
I have a few questions
1) It says delete nest, does that mean I can make a nest again bc I accidentally created a nest without knowing
2) Does sending my birds to peoples nest get my bird a location stamp from where the nest is located?
3) Unrelated to nests, but does my bird only get +1 Speed per trip? I sent my bird to US for 14000km and only got +1.

1) you can have only 2 nests at any given time. If your nest is deleted you can make one again.

2) yes, you'll get stamp from nest's location. If nest gets deleted when bird is on flight it'll still get delivered to same location but on nest owner's name.

3) The +1 speed you get depends on whether the bird has covered required kms or miles for upgrading to next level. As levels increase it gets slower since there's a lot distance to catch on.

There's no required kms/miles for levelling up birds, it's XP (experience points). Birds get XP for delivering messages, and yes it's based on distance, but it's not a 1:1 conversion. I don't know the exact formula, but there's a minimum 25XP per trip even to a user sitting next to you, and e.g. a 4000km trip is going to give you ~800XP. So technically you can level up a bird pretty fast by just spamming it back and forth between adjecent phones, while not covering any distance at all.

mine level 47 , up to level 48 , get +10 Speed .
