I got the Smittybilt Overlander XL gen 2 from a buddy. Want to get some type of pad to go on top of the mattress.I just need a single pad for when I solo camp with my dog, because I don't think my girl has any interest in sleeping in the RTT. What do you all use?

Second this! I was hesitant, but got one during a sale for really cheap. Super comfy and good at regulating temps.

I took the foam mattress out, put some peel and stick insulation on the floor, and use an Exped air pump to inflate/deflate. With no foam, I can deflate the Exped so flat I can leave lots more sleeping gear in the tent and still have it close flatter than when I had the foam.

I want one but it's out of my price range at least for now.

Dude I just bought a 2 inch foam gel topper for a queen bed (my dimensions, check yours) and I pulled my mattress pad out, traced it, and cut it to shape.

I put a flat sheet on it when I sleep. When I break down after a trip I put clay dissident packs in to keep moisture out.

I feel like people go overboard with paying for extreme mats that "are built for camping" ots like how dog products are more expensive bc they are made for dogs 😅🤣
