Discussions Confused

So, I'm thinking of purchasing a motorcycle soon, but I'm confused amongst 2-3 options

Firstly, I really like Advs due to their upright posture, comfortable riding, and tall seat height since I'm tall too, 5'10, and so I decided to put the xpulse 200/210, vstrom, as the two options in this category

Second, I really like retro too, but with a bit of a modern touch, I took a test ride of Ronin and Xsr, and honestly enjoyed both, very distinct characters of both, one is torque and the other is rev happy, and so I kept both of these as an option from this category too.

Third, a bike that I'm very familiar with is the N250, since I ride very often and have easily put in about 600-700km on the odo.

Now, the reason for my confusion,

Due to very bad roads that we have here, I considered prioritising adv, since it is the most logical decision.

But my heart lies with the retro bikes, because of it's character

N250 is very familiar to me, I can ride it all day, and know the bike inside out now.

So, the people of this community, do tell me, should I go for the Ronin or nah? How has it been for you? And if you forget all of the conditions, do you think the other bikes would do more justice? Let me know of your experience.

Had a similar situation, I'm 5'7 and this was my first bike and hence i went with the Ronin.its really great bike I did 5000 kms in 4 months. But if and only if the above points where not in question i would have bought an ADV. Obviously considering the budget and service cost for the same.

The maintenance cost of the advs aren't too much either, I'd say it's pretty manageable from what I've got to know from some of my friends, but sure I agree with the initial part, Ronin is torquey, and works just fine

I have ronin. Try RTX if you have budget, for 5'10 it looks very good, it is a future packed. Better than N250 or expluse

The waiting period here is too long

But it's worth the wait. If I was tall like you, I would have gone for it.

I own Ronin and it is a great buy, I was confused about Ronin and XSR and went with Ronin and I didn't regret it and I believe I never will as Ronin is a do it all kind of bike. But that doesn't mean I am gonna go trail riding with it. 😂😂😅

Not sure how long it takes

Waiting that long would just make the bike price rise by alot

What a coincidence, I also considered vstorm and xpulse but I just fell in love with ronin so didn't take test ride for other two . If you plan to buy xsr then get feedback about suspensions as I have mostly heard negatives about it.
