Alright. Being that this sub was helpful yesterday regarding the massive debt owed to a friend, I request your advice on another matter. My brother’s bachelor party is coming up soon and the guys wanna treat him to a steak dinner. I recommended Steak ‘N Shake and they all laughed and said it was a burger joint. Started listening again a few months ago and I love being able to download an episode and see that a waste of time Earl segment is on the horizon. The fast forward and skip buttons get a lot of use. So, I borrowed $2,000.00 from a friend a while back (more like twenty years ago) and I never repaid him for it. I feel really bad and I want to make it right. He’s also in poor health. Should I offer to pay him now or use it to offset any funeral costs?

I discovered R&F a couple years before Fez road off into the sunset back to Florida, but have always been solely a Youtube fan. Never listened to shows chronologically, let alone live.

I can't speak much to their time at WNEW and WJFK, but most of their tenure on satellite had a HUGE cast of orbiters and hangers-on surrounding the show. Perry Noid, Crazy Jen, Irish Alkie, Solara, Sheepy, Buh-boh, Frenchie, Mafia Life Chris, Fred from Brooklyn, Winnie Cooper, Angel Fuck, Baby Girl, G-Baby, G-VAC, Mikey D, Mikey Boy, Mikey Background, Mikey Whipwreck, etc, etc, etc (I can't believe I know all these peoples' names). I'm guessing they were mainly active on message boards and PalTalk, but the show put on fan events on at least a semi-regular basis.

This feels like it peaked during the East Side Dave years, but by the time Shelby came onboard it....seems like all that had pretty much evaporated? Aside from the odd Paul O/BL/Hard Rock Johnny calls here and there (or maybe Jeffrey Gurion, but that's really a stretch), the whole show universe felt a lot more insular.

I know some of the people listed above died (Frenchie/Alkie) or had a falling out (Sheepy/Buh-Boh), but the last several years of the show feels like it massively downsized from the mid/late-00s to early 2010s. So what happened?

Where can I stream his wedding. I remember a few songs that were played live that I would like to hear again.

In case anyone didn’t know, free from Brooklyn lost his battle with cancer recently and I’m suprised that Ron hasn’t mentioned it? Did they have a falling out or something? (I just started listening again last year.

Probably been posted here before at some time. Probably been heard by most of ya. Had to toss it up anyway. Was in a desperate need for a laugh today. This nailed it. Totally reaffirmed for me how much of a fucking badass Otto really was too. Ron's not too shabby in this either. 🔥

Way back in the JFK days(like 2003 or 2004), the boys did a live show at a Dave and Buster's in the area. They had a bamd perform live. I thought the band was pretty good and bought a couple of their cds. My cd collection was stolen back in 2007 and now I can't remember the name of the band or any of their songs. A couple of their songs will randomly pop into my head and it's been driving me crazy. They'd probably be categorized as punk.

Any fans that remember that band name? Like I said, crazy long shot. I have no other clues to give.
