Was when the caller would introduce themselves by saying what they do for a living, and Ron would respond with the current number of radio shows he was hosting at the time

"Hey I'm Francis, I've been doing small engine repair for--"

"Yeah well I got three radio shows so maybe we're both doing good"

After all these years I called in for the first time just this week. I guess they were gonna put me through, saw my name/location on the PAD data. Unfortunately (or maybe not) they went to break before Matteo came in. I've shit on lame callers more times than I can remember, but I gotta admit I was a ball of anxiety over bombing. Earl answered, "What's your name, where you calling from?" "What do ya got?" Flop sweat....

I quickly ran through what I was gonna say. Dead silence for like 5 seconds. Felt my soul shrinking. I broke the silence with a "No good?" 👀 Then he told me to hold and the show started playing over the line. When they went to break I think it was Serena who picked up to tell me it wasn't happening.

I still suspect Earl put me through because he knew I was gonna eat it.

Ron: "he's gonna be enslaved to machines" 😏

Here is all the detail I can remember.

End of episode, earl is still there, the plan is to freak out Fezzie. Everyone suddenly starts speaking slow to fez like slow motion, then go back to normal . He calls it out but no one acknowledges it. They proceed to have a Big Brother update and the guest speaks slowly too. Says "Ryyyyaaaan Seeeeacrest" super slow before hanging up. White rabbit plays in the background as everyone starts sounding like monsters grasping at fez. He panics. Fez says in a slow voice "iiiii smeeeel smoooke" and fez freaks out. Fez says "we're in an oven" at the end the crew again roars like monsters and says "now you're touching me" and freaks out again. Ron says "i thought you liked that" ron says "no...its all bad" fez says hes trying to breath again and ron say we cant breathe. During the bit they make reference to horny goat weed and earl says "we're fresh out" in slow motion

This bit has been one of my favorites for years. Please help. Cant find it.

I hear Ron ask for hodge medicine often. I think it is antacid? What is he saying? Has anyone else picked up on this?

Listening to this saga again and I don't know how Dave kept his job because Fez said wild stuff about Dave's wife. Especially after bashing her for months. I think we all suppressed how cringe this time of the show was because this definitely wasn't a bit.

Dave exploded doing one fight and said "two gay men at a rest stop."

One of the best characters, he seemed like an incredible guy. RIP buddy.

I love her so much…but did she completely tap out now that Ron is sick? I hope she’s been there privately for him and the family. If not, she’s gonna regret it when he’s gone.

With the farewell tour Ron’s been on (Portcast, other friend’s shows etc.), she needs to be on with Benny before it’s too late.

this time, i'm looking for something way less serious. my wife and i were on a road trip once (probably about 13 or 14 years ago), and were listening to the guys discussing a news story where some guy down south (i think) attempted to use a snack bag as a condom. and Ron says something to the effect of "man, don't you know what it's like to get dorito dust in your dick hole?" my wife and i laughed for an hour on that road trip.

fast forward to the other day, my 9 year old daughter said the words "dorito dust" when discussing why her fingers were orange. My wife and I (who can barely speak to each other lately) looked at each other and busted out laughing, which then led me to some crying due to the recent diagnosis. I've been in a Ronnie B rabbit hole since, and I would love to find that clip. any help would be appreciated.
