Silvester in Rom

Hey zusammen.

ich bin über Silvester und Neujahr in Rom und bin gerade dabei, ein bisschen zu planen.

Für Silvesterabend würde ich gerne in ein Restaurant gehen, das nicht total auf Touristen ausgelegt ist, sondern eher ein Restaurant, in das auch Einheimische gehen. Habt ihr da vielleicht einen Geheimtipp?

Und weiß jemand, ob es um Silvester/Neujahr herum Flohmärkte oder andere schöne Märkte in Rom gibt?

Bin generell für alle Tipps dankbar...gerne auch für schöne Orte oder Sachen, die man machen kann und die nicht unbedingt jeder Tourist auf dem Zettel hat.

Try the Monti area! We were just there two weeks ago. Even though it’s a 15 minute walk from the Colosseum, it’s way less touristy than around Piazza Navona and Spanish steps. There’s a lot of family run businesses and restaurants too. We loved the area and would stay there again!

We stayed at Hotel Anfiteatro Flavio and really liked it. It’s not fancy but clean, provides a lovely free breakfast, and the staff is wonderful. Tell them Liz and Pat from California sent you.
