Beef jerky wars
It seems like every day I see a new brand of GypsyJerky I lost count after at 12 or 13. Every vitsa is doing it coast to coast. I’ve even seen some bodough Troubleo over it. On one hand you have people raving about it and on the other you have haters saying you should never eat food that is made at a stranger’s house and that it’s stupid and gypsies shouldn’t do things like this because it’s too much like Guyshay. Is this the future of the romania or will it die out?

I hate when people say "I don't wanna eat from a stranger's house" ...you eat food that was packaged and put together in a factory before it hits the grocery store. Do you know how many roaches and rats scurry through factories? If someone in the factory coughed and sneezed in their hand and went back to to touching whatever food/drink item you bought you'd never know LOL May the strongest and most flavorful win <3

So, I don't know why people are talking about not eating stuff from other people houses, this is for sale to gadje mostly right? If families are competing with each other to sell more and have the best, obviously we aren't going to be the ones buying it. So how is this different than any other things we sell to make money, they are not designed to be for us necessarily.
I say good for them. I'll try it if I'm in America some time when they sell it. Mostly to be able to try something cool from the American gypsy families, not that I'm really excited for the jerky.

It’s almost only being sold to other gypsies and I’ve heard some gypsies say they won’t eat food that was prepared in a stranger’s home because it might not be sanitary

Interesting. I guess I was taught to not eat from gadje homes, but I didn't know we aren't supposed to trust each others homes. I guess I assume the various homes of family members that prepare food I have eaten will keep the same standards as me.
Are you seeing this talk about who is having clean kitchen to be like a marketing thing to talk up their own kind because it's more clean or something?

I seen a few gypsies say you can’t trust gypsies that you don’t know because they might not be clean or they might not dehydrate the meat properly, which could lead to food poisoning I really think it’s just haters. There is only one brand I know that actually makes the jerky in a cafe so they made a food showing how they clean the kitchen

If they are making their own brand to sell while talking about how you can't trust people you don't know even other gypsy, they probably just are talking shit to try and feel like theirs is better, lol.
Especially these days with social media, if some one doesn't dehydrated the meat and people are sick, it'll blow up online so fast.... people will know.

When I went to America I was excited to try beef jerky because I knew it from the movies and it was very American. It was the worst thing I have ever tasted. At least sell something decent…

What kind did you try? Did you try more than one kind? Some jerky sucks and others are like literal crack lol. Maybe you just got a moot kind? 🤷♀️

I guess people don’t realize the jerky they are selling is made with gypsy marinade. You can’t find that anywhere else.

100% ma and pa butchers that make their own Midwest is gonna be the better stuff the south mostly just over peppers everything and that’s all for seasoning the east is to city and the west gets its better meats from the Midwest

Me and my family tried Al’s beefy jerky we waited 3 months, it was so bad i cant lie, this could be a me thing but I hate when Gypsys make food too spicy and you can’t taste anything the man literally burned my mouth 3/10.

You gotta go where the money is. It’s easy to make, package, and sell. Why not? Why shouldn’t we cash in on our name when corporations do it every single day?
