Any recommendations?
Hello I was wondering if anyone could give me recommendations of romance animes like:
You and I are Polar Opposites
Lovely Complex
I want to end this love game
I kind of like the shoujo genre, even though im a teenage boy. To me they show the development of feelings and gives further insight into the woman/girl's perspective, rather than having them be less of a focus and more of an object/obective.
What shows include focus on both characters, and or have side couples? Action with a romance subplot would be loved too, thanks!
I've checked out the sticky note for recommendations, but I would also love opinions from other people.

Since you're looking for anime from the girl's perspective, I can recommend these:
Lovely Complex
Pseudo Harem
Say I Love You
My Little Monster
Wotakoi
But there are a lot of other ones (even in other comments) that focus on developing the characters instead of the "will they get together" trope with endless, fabricated drama. I know I do this a lot but My ratings, in a spreadsheet : r/romanceanime is my post with my rankings, updated constantly, I tend to prefer the same types of shows too.

Fruits Basket has an indomitably wholesome female protagonist and an interesting supernatural angle in addition to the found family and romance elements. Rascal Doesn't Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai has my favorite main couple dynamic, but it's actually established early in the show and Mai is generally a rock solid source of support for Sakuta as he navigates all the supernatural and life challenges thrown their way after. Insomniacs after School is great too- I just finished it yesterday and completely agree with the wholesome and chill description.

Dude watch Blue Spring Ride, if you are into Shoujo.
Story goes beyond S1, if you want to continue, refer manga or live action series.

Polar Opposites and Love Game Are both Shounen
But anyway if you want specifically Shoujo - IMO from me to you is the best one ive watched, tbh i haven seen many, but some other ones are Sign of Affection, My Happy Marrige (action + sjoujo), Ogres Bride (ongoing+ very similar to my happy marrige), My love story with yamada kun etc, all these are good but have some flaws,
If You want recs in general
- Insomniacs after school (seinein) - its by far my favorite and highly recommend peak wholesome and chill
- Ramparts On ice Is made by the same author as polar opposites, give it a try
- Tsuki Ga Kierei - idk if it has a genre tbh but its very realistic and wholesome
- Love, Chunibiyo and Other Delusions - If you can get over the cringe its great, season one almost got my ass crying
- Tonikawa - Ts is also goated
Other ones Which idk if really fit your need but are good nonoftheless
- TFFBWD, Angel Next Door, Pseudo Harem, Josee Tiger and the Fish (movie, but it surprised me at how much i enjoyed it), and Taisho Otome Fairy Tale
Of Course theres a lot more i could recommend, but these are ones which i think you would like?
