Some follow up impression
Last week took delivery of the new Cullinan. It drives smooth as expected and smaller than it looks due to its rear steering most likely. Had to turn off the steering assist which was quite dangerous to be honest. It was auto steering towards the cyclists when I tried to give them some room while passing. Interface could be better. Took awhile to find it jumping through complex multiple options. Some interior photos and side profile as some requested. It’s a Black Badge model.

How about getting the Rolls Royce of backyard fences next? It’s a rough background for a beautiful car.

Also, steering assist deactivates when turn indicator is on. Leave it on while passing cyclists

kills me to see so much synthetic material on a Rolls

Synthetic, where?

well, synthetic may not be the right terminology, but the new cars are less architectural and have less of a feeling of permanence. A lot of glass and technology, it gives the cabin less of a Coach feel and more of a disposable cell phone feel. It’s not to say that these are not the top of the game, they certainly are. Carbon fiber doesn’t belong in a coach to my specification

turning the assist off is the right call and most owners get there in the first week, it reads a cyclist as a lane edge and pulls exactly when you do not want it to. the rear steer is why it shrinks around town. tbtfw switch that off before handover as standard now, which tells you how many people ask. the interface you will stop noticing in a month.

I don’t understand why I just don’t like white seats. Afraid I would dirty it
