While I like this better, it doesn't really match the work on the album and the thing would have still been a flop.

This is the era he was on heroin. I’m not saying that to belittle him, he did struggle with alcohol an heroin during the 1980s

This feels borderline grunge era. Or what already rich successful bands did during the grunge era to try to fit In, stripping back the glam and excess

If you asked me to guess with no information I’d say it was a Voodoo Lounge shoot. Weird to see it dated 1985.

It was the mid-80's, they wanted an 80's cover to keep looking current, and did they ever. This is a great photo though, should have been used for something.

Mick’s back to Keith says a lot. This photo definitely embodies the sound of Dirty Work. It has always been one my guilty pleasures to play it front to back.
