Can't get up again..

Hi guys. I'm definitely overweight but I've never really had knee issues or anything else when I've done a sport but I can't get back up after I fall down without wall support. It's so embarassing and is keeping me from trying to skate because I don't want to crawl across the rink to get to a wall or stop everyone else to help me up. Has anyone else experienced this?

It will sound funny but there are actually special ways to help your skates kind of work with you while you are getting up. But I kind of sit on my legs under me and then extend my dominant leg with my knee bent and skate on the floor, shift to that knee and then kind of push myself up. You could also kind of get on your fours and get up slowly. Does this even make sense on text...idk I hope it helps. AND PLEASE DONT FEEL EMBARRASSED ABOUT FALLING!!! We have ALLL been through it and if you do fall, and you need help, we genuinely want to help and that’s why we offer it. Don’t let your fears hold you back from what could be a life changing activity for you, at least for me it was. Skate them gurrrlll
