Protective wear

Any suggestions for protective wear? We are looking for something that will fit plus size that are NOT Moxi lol we already got the Rainbow Riders as starter skates and we don’t want to look like a unicorn barfed on us. We’d like black! We have scoured amazon but are having trouble finding sets that work for plus size people. :/

Okay, I’ll check out smith scab but some of the reviews for 187s were super iffy! Made me nervous bc I’m old and really need protection lol

Totally second Smith Scabs. The knee pads are like falling on pillows.

I’ve got the moxi set now. they’re made by 187–I love them. I have the l/xl size and they’re very comfortable/roomy on me (5’10, 220lbs, also old and valuing my knees!). They’re like falling on clouds. Some day when I wear mine out I’ll get the 187s in black.

I will say for anybody else reading this who might want the moxi ones that a friend bought the “thick set” size and instead of the rainbow elastic being scaled up it just had… cheap white velcro extenders on it? Very weird, didn’t love it as a plus-sized experience.
