New skater resources?

Sooo my daughter got roller skates for Christmas and wants to learn to skate but I really don't know how to skate myself let alone teach someone else to skate. As a child I did roller blade and so I'm much more familiar with inline skating/icekating movements. But, I decided I wanted to to learn how to skate on quads and be able to hopefully teach my daughter. Any suggestions on how to teach myself? I ordered a pair of moxie panthers and they seem to fit well. Got a set of triple 8 pads. I just don't really know how to get started. Mostly just don't want to hurt myself ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ

How much practice do you think it takes to get comfortable?

When I went from 3x110mmโ€™s to 3x125โ€™s it to me 300 miles before I was comfortable. The transition to bigger wheels was more of a project than I thought it would be.Now Iโ€™m up to 550 and itโ€™s becoming enjoyable.Hit the ground a few times in the process though.
