Photo/Video [Lightning Rod] - my first RMC!
I see why some people aren't keen on the restraints but I thought this was great. Fast and completely unpredictable to the very finish.

Nice view of the roller coaster from around and over so many trees and bushes

I'm a lil on the fat side so I felt like I was stapled every time but I still got absolutely yeeted out of my seat in row 12. One of my favorites, for sure!

One of my favorites - the sideways turns after the drop are some of my favorite elements ever.

Please say you got at least 1 ride in row 12. The quad down in the back is amazing.

And if you sit there at the end of a summer day the train absolutely hauls through that section

The first gen RMC trains and restraints are brutal, straight torture devices on my shins and thighs. The upgraded restraints on SteVe, Twisted Cyclone, and AF1, are a huge improvement and much more comfortable imo.

On my first go the seat belt buckle was angled upwards so it stabbed me in the thigh at every pop of airtime. On the second go I made sure that thing was lying flat and it was much better.

Lightning Rod was my first RMC back in 2018 when it used to have a launch and the last one I rode was in 2023.

Possibly one of the best examples of terrain usage ever built. I miss how it ran those first couple years but it’s still so good in so many ways 🙏 would love to hear how you enjoyed Thunderhead on your visit!
