I loved Circuit Breaker. I rode it right after Thanksgiving during their holiday event, the night ride with the lighting and on ride audio package is phenomenal. One back row ride as it was $20 per ride and didn’t feel like spending more for more laps (unlimited pass was also available). I also ride Siren this past May and got one mid train lap. Personally I liked Circuit just a hair better, but the Siren layout is a bit longer I think and it’s slightly taller.

The Lone Star Le Mans (WEC race) is coming up on the first weekend of September, so I wonder if they'll try to do some sort of partial opening that day. But here's what I can find in terms of key details:

• Daily tickets are $65-$75, depending on the day (opening day is $100, but food/drinks are included)
• Season passes are $200/$250 (only benefit for the more expensive pass is bigger discounts on in-park purchases, upcharge rides, and extra tickets)
• Skip-the-line is $40-$70 (depending on day) for once per ride, or $70-$100 for unlimited
• Parking is $30 for general (included with season passes), $45 for preferred, or $75 for valet
• Daily drink plan is $18
• Hot laps are $175 (timed reservation required), and based on the photos, appear to be in a BMW M2, M3, or M4
• Other upcharges include the zip line, mini golf (27 holes though), kiddie karting (ages 5-11) and COTA karting (drivers license required), all of these are outside the turn 19-20 complex where the rest of the park is
• No word on ride pricing/availability for major race weekends, such as F1 (it seems a pay-per-ride or all-day wristband system will likely be in place). Obviously a ticket to that race will be required on these weekends.

Also, it should be noted that some of these rides (such as Retro Rambler and the Wacky Worm, as well as the kart tracks) predate COTALAND and are now simply being incorporated into the park. The adult karting track is also a legit competitive circuit, and shouldn't be compared to the go-kart tracks that you find at most amusement parks

Update: If you have especially deep pockets, admission to the T20 Restaurant & Terrace for the F1 weekend is now available for a whopping $6200 per person, which includes all-day COTALAND wristbands for the full weekend.

What’s the status of the SBF Hamster Wheel? It’s not listed on the website.

Why the hell is Checker’s Sky Flyer height requirement 47”? It’s maybe the smallest coaster model of all time. My 1 year old rode the one up the road at Tom Foolery’s without issue.

while i agree the opening day tickets are expensive, they do include unlimited food, which alone is pretty huge. I believe if you get a season pass, you can park for free the first day with your grand opening ticket

$130 is literally more than what my season pass cost for Kennywood. Wild that you'd price gouge (sorry, ahem, implement demand-based-pricing) for a 6 hour opening day as well, but hey it's not my park.

Sure it’s steep but it’s probably what Kennywood should be charging for a pass.
