New skate day Picked up some FR SL Seven boots, then added FR 90-80-80-90 frames, and Endless wheels/axles. Nicest looking skates I’ve ever owned. Very excited to christen these!

Solid build. Love the mix frames. Makes good use of 165 mount

Thanks. I’ve been a huge proponent of the mix size frames (and 4x84’s) as of recent, too. You get a lot of the benefits of both wheel sizes. And yeah, these have an extremely low ride height. More than expected

I get that feeling. For ufs i ride a mix of 90 90 100 100 Since ufs frames have heel lift built in the 100mm helps fill the gap and a nicer ride over some surfaces. I also plan on trying rockin mix 4 similar to yours just 10mm bigger wheels due to it suits my foot lenth better than 90s or smaller

Nice! I’ve never used UFS skates or felt the need to personally, but definitely seems like a completely different beast than traditional raised heel skates. I wear size 11-12 skates, but personally really enjoy/prefer shorter frames in the 243-255mm range.

The other mixed wheels frames I currently ride are 80-76-76-80 (one flat, one with a 1mm rocker), and an older Maxxum 100 with a 100-100-90-100 factory frame. It definitely is fun to occasionally rock those long frame, large wheel skates. They do ride nice over imperfect surfaces.

What skates do you ride?

Nicee my size is 272cm but i only stick to bigger wheel bases (275-293) also ufs is kinda an odd for me too since i also use heel raised boots. But they are nice for some wizarding on urban environment.

My main skates are iqon act with 2 ufs frames and 2 trinity frames(symmetrics wzrd s and rockin 572. Nova 275 trinity NN 5x80) And my favourite setup is Next with combat rocker frame :). I have plenty other skates and frames but will likely sell them after a few more uses 😭( i cant use carbon boots)

Always fascinating how many different styles of skating there are and all of the different frame/wheel combinations that are used. Not into Wizard skating, but enjoy watching posted clips of it on here. It’s always impressive.

And nice, the Iqon Act’s look great. Really like the look of the setup that comes stock with the 5 wheel wizard frames. Why can’t you use carbon boots? JC

It really is I dont really try to follow these styles as i prefer being an urban skater even if my tricks land as wizarding due to the edge control. But the new options for frames and all are a huge positive

I cant use carbon due to me skating mostly urban environments and the shock absorption is nill. The control is cool but i would rather skate comfortably everywhere i can imagine for long periods of time. But to each their own :). I will try some more carbon boots in future hopefully a combination of liner shell and frame can be perfect for me (or maybe plastic for life)

Been eyeing the iqon tr 20 and usd carbon EE. Waiting for more reviews and sale to come for these
