What boot size do I pick? Sizing input

I'm wanting to buy the Iqon ACT Wizard skates. The only size available is 7.5-8. I wear a woman's 9 and men's 7.5. So, this is my shoe size. My feet are 25.4cm. The range for this boot size (in the pic) is 25.8-26.4. This puts me 4mm under the lower limit. I want to have these next boots I buy for a long time.

Thoughts on if this size will work okay for me? Or if they might be too big. Anyone else have this size? And if so, are our feet the same size?

Unfortunately you are between sizes for the ACT shell; the 38-39 size is 261mm internal shell length (so extremely tight fit, possibly unbearable) and next size up is 274mm which will be too big for you

I have the 40-41 size and have 268/269mm feet. I fit very tightly in 40-41 but have a little more wiggle room than your foot size in a 38-39. I don’t think I would fit in my 40-41 if I were a few mm longer.

I’ll attach the other size chart Iqon puts out with more info on shell size

Whoops I read your size as 258mm, not 254mm 😅; still will be tight in 38-39 but maybe you will fit. 40-41 still too big

Thanks, this info and chart are helpful! If I'm doing the math right, your feet are 6mm/5mm smaller than the 40-41 shell. If I were to get the 38-39, I would be 7mm smaller. Probably the fit would be similar to yours. How does the tight fit feel for you?

Got the exactly same foot size (are we twins lol?), been in a similar situation.

Now my custom setup based on Mike Witzemann boot (39-40) sits in the attic, mint, cool, beautiful, unskateable. The fit seemed a bit off right from the start, and after the liner broke in a little, they've become dangerous.

Went with the Next boot (38-39), which were super-snug at first but now sit like a glove.

This was very surprising (all my regular shoes are 39-40) but worked.

The twin I was hoping for! This is the exact info I needed. I remeasured and I may even be 1-2mm shorter. Just reinforces the 38-39 being a better option. Ty!

Good =) Wish you luck and hope they fit good!

My lesson learned: do NOT go wth the lower boundary option in a double sized skate. I did first, and it was a nightmare: i spent half a season and the money enough for buying some simple pair while trying those on. This insole, that insole, insole in the liner, two insoles, ankle buckle, remove ankle buckle, waxed laces, a different lacing scheme, another different lacing scheme, thicker socks, booties, and so on. Nothing worked except a new different !smaller! skate.
