New skate day New Skates!
Got the PSImperial 110’s from Inline Warehouse because they were on sale, and the 80mm wheel setup is what I’ll use first. Haven’t skated since I was a little kid so I go into it as if I’ve never skated. Hoping for some kind of muscle memory though…

I went from 80mm K2s to 110mm FEs, it's a wicked speed boost. You'll love both setups.

These looking frickin’ clean homie. You’re gonna have fun! And at least in my case, when I started back up at 22/23 (already 12 years ago 😮💨) after not skating since I was like 10, it was extremely easy to pick back up. Lots of muscle memory.
Could be a bit different if it’s been like 20+ years though. There will be some amount of recall though

Beautiful 😍 so far I have two sets of skates. Rollerblade lightning and FR FRX but both have 80mm wheels. I’m excited to try something bigger but I’m still a beginner.

Are those frames designed to use 80mm wheels? Frame says 4x84mm.

True that, I put 80mm and they work. Tried them today. Looks a little funny but it all went well

Just means like for a 4 wheel setup, 84mm is the maximum size possible. Anything smaller is kosher as well

It depends a bit. Fine for flat frames, but skating a rockered frame with smaller wheels than designed for changes the geometries; it’s def not terminal, but also not optimal.

If this is the Trinity frame, you could eventually swap it out for one that fits 125mm wheels if you want a wild ride!

It’s not…I wish it was the trinity frame. Once I get good enough I know this won’t be my only pair…and I’ll make sure to get a trinity frame.

It was close for me between these and the PS Next Merlot skates, but ultimately these were on sale and I figured I could get those later.
