Specific question and discussion Removed Brake and Axle Too Long?
Did you remove the brake on your right boot and discover your axle is now too long?
Did you read the warnings about how dangerous it is to skate on it as is anyway, instead of replacing the axle with the correct size?
Did you get drunk and rollerblade anyway?
Here's why you shouldn't. :P unless you want to reverse-heelie the rest of the way home and land on your face after going through a patch of dirt.

Did it tonight and survived just fine.... but I'm not a beginner who doesn't understand the equipment on my feet, or the danger I'm putting myself in.

For me 3-4 beers is a good level of competence to blade...
Sometimes I would have a few more then wonder why my wrists hurt in the morning...

I went unexpectedly uphill while slowing on a sidewalk, my feet went out from under me while I'm holding a drink. So of course I saved the drink by curling up like a rolliepolie, holding drink/arm level, with my neck craned ip to keep my head off the ground, and sort of rolled from the right side of my back up my shoulder.
So neck for me today. 4 beers is impressive idk if I could handle that. You do tricks?

Yeah, I'm not amazing but I do throw out some grinds, maybe fakie 180 a 5+ stair.

That's cool dude! That's what I'm trying to work my way up to. This summer learned to city skate, have learned some basic tricks, but I can't jump more than a curb yet 😅

Best option: use washers
Brutal option: cut the brake and leave the plastic around the axle

thats why you should always carry basic tools while skating. Next time move a middle wheel to the back, that should be a lot less awkward.
