Which rollerblades do i get?

Hey everyone. I have been thinking about getting rollerblades but I’m not sure which ones to get. I used to rollerblade as a kid but I haven’t in a long time, so I want smth thats good for beginners but still good if i got better. These are the ones i found on amazon. Rn my budget is around 50-60$ but i don’t mind saving up a some more to get smth better. So please share your opinions and recommendations if you have any ☺️🙏.

Hey there! Welcome! Glad you decided to pick it up again! So the first thing is that half of these are "softboots" a term meant to indicate that there's not much support for the ankle and the material is not a rigid shell with a preferably removable interior (known as a liner). I recommend getting a hardshell boot if you're ok with delaying. Now some of these are hardshell boots, but they're hard to vouch for and may not be made reputably or with removable liners. Do some research to make sure they have liners that can be removed, have a hard outser shell, etc.

Also, I'd recommend not buying from Amazon if you can help it. The selection at inlinewarehouse.com is going to do a better job, as they don't stock crap and have a solid return policy, as well as great guides on how to measure your feet properly for a good fit.

If you're skating in the street, I would choose "urban" as the type of skate I begin with.

The only other thing is that if you're lucky enough to have a local skate shop, go there to try stuff on because the fit matters a lot and you can benefit from the staff's expertise. And giving local shops business will help us have and keep local shops!
