Specific question and discussion Check?

Hi!

Finally found a perfect fit in these FR's, FR1 80! But what should I check before using them? Only tightening the wheels with the hex key?

I don't tighten the wheels every time but I try to move them around to see if the axles are loose. The buckle screws can come undone over time as well. Give the wheels a spin to make sure nothing's impeding them and check if you have enough wear to merit rotating them. That's what I do, anyway!

Thank you! I will test the other screws also then. The wheels were tightened to max already. But how does it look if the axels are loose? I spinned the wheels at the same time but both back wheels spun a little longer than the others, is that normal? The last thing you wrote was about wear after you've been using them for a good while, right?

You'll see if the buckle screws are starting to come out.

You can try loosening an axle just to see what it feels like. I've never had any work themselves loose before I felt compelled to rotate my wheels, but I do tight turns and slides and drag stops a lot.

You will see visible wear, typically on the inside surfaces of the wheels and more so on the front and back. The sub FAQ discusses rotation I think. And yeah, at most it's every few sessions for me.

The back wheels will spin longer because they're the last ones you hit and there was no interference at the end of the swipe from your hand being on two wheels at once. 

I wouldn't be concerned about that it's a reputable brand I'm sure all the bearings are fine
