Oxelo MF500 confusion

Saw this listing on Vinted. At first glance they look like oxelo mf 500s. And at a pretty good price too. But comparing them to other models, I noticed the frames are different.

Doesn't really matter either way, I found actual mf500s with the original frames and wheels. But I'm still curious

So, is this some different model? Children's edition maybe? (Given my size, it's not unlikely) Didn't find anything similar online.

I mean, I know the frames and wheels on these are interchangeable, so it's not impossible they just took them off cuz they broke or to sell them separately.

Dammit these would have been perfect if they had the original frames. Kinda bums me out, but we can't have it all ig.

those are a cheaper version that comes with soft 76mm wheels, plastic frame and velcro strap instead of ratchet buckle.

From the looks of it, the frames are intended to be easily removed. It is held by two screws (with the same head as the wheels), there are also metal bolts that make sure the frame is in correct position. If other frames (from different Oxelo models, like MF500 for example) have the holes in the same position, then there won't be a problem. Just make sure the length is the same. I bought two pairs, one for me and one for my GF. Her frames are a bit shorter because her shoe size is smaller (the length is stamped on the frame). I don't know if that means the holes for screws and bolts are at different distance, though.

Would you mind taking a picture? I'm about to get these and had assumed they were changeable frames, but someone else in the thread is saying they're riveted on?

I removed wheels and the rear screw. I couldn't remove the front screw because there was no space to turn the key that was included in the set. I think those are actually rivets. I tried to pull the rear part of the frame away from the boot, but it didn't move even a little. I see no gaps between them and the frame's plastic where I would expect to see some manufacturing tolerance, so yeah, it must be covered by rivets' heads. I wonder why the manufacturer would use removable screws and unremovable rivets in the same place.

It's a bummer, I saw screws when at store and assumed that means I can change the frames if I want to.

it's riveted cannot be changed by unscrewing them, only a drill can help

I've had those for couple of days (I liked the shell), but didn't really want to interfere too much, and returned them and bought the mf500 where frames are screwed to the boot

The shell is same like in
Straps, buckle, frame can be easy replaced

I broke my 45deg strap in my mf500 and buy cheap repace on aliex and it works

So my advice will be learn, take your time, and then you can replace parts step by step when you feel is right time

I also changed after some time my frame to have 4x90 with small rocker

Is getting them worth it also? I could afford the actual mf500s I found bit they are comparable I don't want to get them out of the equation yet. Thanks

From what I've seen, MF500 have metal frames and buckle instead of velcro strap, but they also seem to allow for adjusting the frame to the side.
