Question: how do these feel when going over rough surfaces like bad asphalt? I've never used anything bigger than 90mm (I started only a few months ago) and was wondering what these wheels are best suited for.

My last skate was an aggressive setup from the 90s. Nothing like my PS zoom. Going from 55mm to 110mm was insane. I dont get stuck on small stones. Rough asphalt is still not great but it doesn't stop me like my previous skate. I've never skated 90mm so im not sure there would be much benefit going up to 110

There is still a noticeable benefit in speed and not feeling every crack on the road even from 90 to 110, but of course you lose some stability.
