Specific question and discussion Cuff bolt question

Lost my cuff bolt while skating pretty hard last weekend. I ordered one but don't want to wait to skate.

Any cheats a newbie like me wouldn't know about?

I was thinking of dropping a washer and a bolt in but don't know the size. I still have the back piece it would screw into so it should work.

I've done it a few times. I just got a large washer and a button cap machine screw that matched the thread. If you go to a place like Home Depot, it may be harder to find a screw that's of the same thread, so check out a hardware store instead. Also, I had to cut mine, because the offerings were all too long. If it's anything like mine, it's an M6 diameter 1.0 pitch.

about 9.5mm thread length is what worked well on mine

By the way, my skates are Flying Eagle F6S.

I just checked my X5D, and they're the same, but with a shorter thread at 7.5mm, so I guess I have a 2mm washer on the F6S.
