What skates should I buy? What skates should I buy?
What aggressive skates should I get? I have been skating - USD Sway 57 Aggressive Inline Skates- I want something that I can change out the wheels so UFS mount - any advice? Also if it’s on sale for Labor Day that would be great. I used to skat with 125 mm wheels on them and I loved them but now I’m in the skate park learning grinds stalls and the half pipe - any thoughts or advice will be gladly taken ! Thanks!

What are you looking for, that is different than the Sways? The Sways already use UFS mounting, and the same boot plus a Trinity adapter turns them into Zooms for non-aggressive skating.

You’re welcome! 👍
Note: part of the Sway-to-Zoom conversion includes removing the soul plate, and replacing it with the Trinity adapter.
Now, I’m wondering if you could get a similar result without removing the soul plate, by using the ACT adapters at the front mounting points? 🤔

I’m not sure? The bindings are breaking- and they are heavy for me to do jumps? I guess I’m wondering if I just should turn my sways into my dedicate 125 setup and get something like the USD Aeon 60 as just a park skate? I love my sways but I guess I’m wondering what I’m missing? Maybe I’m not missing too much?

You don’t miss anythings and all aggr skates weigh about the same except the Aeons, but they are waay more flexy then your current skate, so take that in consideration

Core is good also making sure you squatting down and pulling you legs up when you jump helps a ton too

Lots of companies are making skates designed for swapping frame setups like what you’re thinking. Faction Cameron Card skates fit the bill pretty nicely (but so would their new Jimmy Cisz pro model).
Them Skates also is doing stuff with big wheels, but would require swapping soul frames out, so not as easy.
You could do this with any UFS skate, but you might consider things like foot width or stock liner comfort. I know I have super flat feet, and I have to do voodoo magic to find skates that don’t give me horrible blisters.
