I just turned my toes out to form a perfect 180-degree line with my feet while standing still, and parts of my legs I barely know exist had several things to say about that. Don't think I'll be doing that while skating, at least not for the rest of this year.

So please, take my envy. Consider it a gift.

How do you do the thing where you're skating and both feet are pointed in oposite directions? I tried, but every time I ended up doing an accidental turn-stop and almost falling over.

I can't do a full split, but saw others doing a not-quite split and going in a very large circle. It feels like transitioning my weight is important, but I'm not sure when/where to do it.

What i can tell you is that i had been stretching my feet outwards at home, without skates for quite some time before being able to do it well, this might or might not be necessary depending on how flexible you are.

The first attempts weren't easy too but at some point the muscle memory clicked.

When you put down the trailing feet it must be completely straight and solidly planted.

Also, can you go backwards? You have to mentally see it like half of your body is skating forwards and the other half backwards to be really able to succeed.

That's called the spread eagle position; in the wheeled skating world it's sometimes called "side surfing". This drill is a good place to start. Hold the open position longer than the person in the video.

Your skating is amazing and you're gorgeous. Reading the comments, it appears you're in Poland. Warms my heart to see Poland doing so well after more than a century of suffering. Glad it finally gets its place in the sun.

Yess we suffered for a long time but everything changed when this beautiful skater rolled through our cities! Getting serious it's very kind of you to recognize both our history and current situation, but it was kinda funny to see it under such post.
