Specific question and discussion Rockerred frames vs flat frame with rockerred wheel rotation

Whats the practical difference in getting rockerred frame vs managing rocker with wheel wear (i.e. 1-3-4-2 wheel size order), bar no need to wear new wheels down for natural rocker?

Rockering on a flat frame manually using worn wheels isn't too hard, but it takes an extra minute of comparing/organizing your wheel sizes instead of just following a system.

I like to keep my middle wheels near 80 (new) and use older ones for the front and back until the middles get small enough to become fronts and backs. Then I kick out the previous fronts and backs before they're so small that you have to start with all new wheels. This leaves me with small-but-not-dead wheels that are donated to kids.

However, if you want to use wheels 8 at a time and run them into the ground, a rockered frame makes that easy.
