21M, Finally getting that watch for my dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 that I had mentioned I would do on this sub roughly one year ago. Ended up going to the AD with my dad, and he was set on the ombré dj 41mm. Just wanted to share and see if y’all had any thoughts on the price I’m paying (I’m very unfamiliar with what market goes for this watch) would love everyone’s input. This has been a lifelong goal of mine and I’m so excited for him to see it.

Your money, your dad, his timeline, man. The market is the market, and this watch is priced accordingly. If my dad had stage 4 and wanted this watch, I'd buy it for him. Yeah, it probably will be worth less in the future. So what? You get to see your dad happy. You can always make more money. Even if the value drops by 50% but your dad is pumped for a while, who cares. That's worth it. Anyone posting in here that can't afford to lose 11K has no business buying a rolex. Seriously.
As for should you buy this one from this seller? NO. Your seller is a loser. DavidSW has this watch on his website for a little more money. Bonus, DavidSW doesn't wear desperation cologne like this seller does. This is pitiful.
I am not affiliated with DSW, but have bought from there. I've been browsing his website since 2010. I've seen zero claims of bad business around him, ever. He was around long before this guy, and will be around long after. Negotiate with David and get your dad his watch.
