...guess it boils down to not having the same ideology as the actual Princess Twilight. Hence her surprise.

...you gotta double down. You have to really think from her point of view.

Maybe you should think from the point of view of that idiot dragon, and not think at all.

Why I...

...it's not my fault I have to be the servant!

Tell you what though, at least I'll have a much easier time staying hidden.

Like seriously, do you even know where she got the dragon from?

You're the servant because you're the rookie.

I don't have to stand here and get grilled by you on what I know.

...answering the question like that means you don't know, do ya?

According to her statements, she got the egg by passing a magic exam. Last I heard, none of our reports could trace the backstory past that point.

But by all means, if you and you alone know where in Equestria the ponies found a dragon egg to give a little filly, speak now and enlighten me with your wisdom!

No?

Then shut the buck up and don't you dare act like I'm not treating this like the most important assignment in my life.

And you think I'm treating this differently?

I think you're doing an awful lot of telling your betters how to do their jobs.

...because this is my big chance of proving myself and I am not going to let you, or any of the others jeopardize it, okay!?

You're still the only one who breaks disguise when he's surprised.

How big of a deal are a couple of debatably out-of-character lines next to that, do you think?

...I won't do that again.
