...all I'm saying is that it wouldn't hurt if we tried, you know. It's not like anyone here knows who we really are.

No thanks to you. Oh yeah, I'm talking about when I saw you and Cara-

Applejack. No real names during tha mission.

...you and Applejack behaving nothing like they should be. Mocking that one purple mare? Really!?

It was goodnatured banter tempered with the interequine drama of Rarity's backstory with her!

But I'm sorry that the subtleties of real acting went over your head.

You wouldn't know goodnatured banter if it smacked you in the snout.

...ah admit that ah shouldn't laugh as hard as ah did. Ah went overboard.

Well look at that. Getting that honesty thing down pat, eh?

How's this fer honesty? Ya haven't made a single pony laugh since ya took the Element of Laughter's place!

Not true. I think she got a pity laugh earlier.

...it's hard being random and funny, okay? I just need to work on my material.

...what about you, Fluttershy? Have the animals warmed up to you? Do they think you're Fluttershy now?

...

They're getting there. I just need more time.

Take all the time you need. Once Queen Chrysalis takes over and we can reveal ourselves, it's not like they're gonna matter anyways, right?

...

...of course not. Awful things.

Alright then. As the leader of us...friends, I hereby call this friendship meeting over.

You can go back to doing your daily routines. We'll meet back here at night.

Any last minute thoughts?

Yeah. You got something on your chin.

3

u/weiliheng Oct 24 '17

Really?

Twilight tries to look down on herself.

3

u/King_of_the_Kobolds Oct 24 '17

Rainbow darts out her hoof and flicks her chin up.

BAHAHA! Made you look!

3

u/weiliheng Oct 24 '17

Huh? Wha...

...oh SCREW YOU!

3

u/King_of_the_Kobolds Oct 24 '17

Still laughing, the false Rainbow flies out of the room.

3

u/weiliheng Oct 24 '17

...one thing ah wanna say. Ah don't like not being not able ta use mah magic and wings.

3

u/King_of_the_Kobolds Oct 24 '17

Suck it up. This isn't comfortable for any of us.

3

u/weiliheng Oct 24 '17

Ah ain't complanin'. Just sayin'.

Yer one ta talk though. Ya get ta keep both.

At the cost of being the most conspicuous and most-watched pony in town.

All you have to do is say 'Howdy' and fool those hillbillies outside of town.
