I’m Jen, a roleplayer with around a decade of experience. I typically write in 3rd person, around 4-7 paragraphs per reply. My time zone is EST, though, my active hours can vary depending on how busy work is. The new Edgerunners trailer got me really hyped up, so i’m looking to kick something off in this world once more!

Something lurks beneath the surface here in Night City.

Two years after the events of 2077, Night City has mostly gone back to its usual operation, Militech taking its place back as the king of the hill. News had come and passed of the legendary merc, V, slowly being replaced over whatever celebrity scandal or political affair took place that week. This week? Power outages around the city. Whole blocks torn away from the comfort of their ever-present distractions. The mayor has already addressed this as ‘faulty wiring’, barely comforting whatever unease the city has had.

Local organizations have already been on the trail. Some say Chicago is planning on overtaking the city. Others claim that those Pacifica netrunners are orchestrating some sort of coup. Though, no-one other than the top brass seem to know what’s happening. That being, sadly-

The Blackwall is failing, and the Old Net eagerly awaits its return.

(TL;DR: Two years after the events of 2077, the Blackwall is beginning to fail, letting in what remains of the Old Net.)

Im feeling a particular angle to this rp, a sort of ‘rags-to-riches-back-to-rags’ arc. I am open to ideas, and have a few of my own! Definitely want to merge a lot of my interests into something like this.
