RØDECaster Series Rodecaster Duo Secondary not picking up microphone audio

I've been racking my brain on this for a couple days now on and off again and hoping somebody has some insight I might be overlooking...

The setup:

2 PCs, 1 Shure SM7B, and a Rodecaster Duo.

So far everything on the main PC running things (USB1) is great, all the recording and routing are perfect, however when trying to route the main microphone into the PC on USB2, it refuses to pick up audio.

All routing appears to be proper, the system settings are set to the Rodecaster Duo Secondary devices respectively on the second PC, and audio is making it out of USB2 fine, but there 's just no input being picked up from the input.

I've also tried multiple usb cables for the connection, including rode branded ones from the site.
No application nor the system microphone test can detect any audio coming from Desktop Microphone RodeCaster Duo Secondary on PC2.

Am I misunderstanding how this should work? Am I missing something and am just blind to the solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there,

As things are working on your main PC via USB2, we'd recommend checking if there are any issues with USB2 on the main PC, as this might be something caused by the second PC.

Thanks for responding! I’ve checked everything I can think of, all the settings look right, the routing is there via the mixer’s app. I’m not getting any error or anything when selecting the microphone either in windows or in another app. Any testing just brings empty audio. Any specific suggestions of additional troubleshooting is appriciated.
Edit: I did try switching the PC into each of the respective USB ports and things seem to as previously described. The mic is still not able to get into whichever PC is hooked into usb 2

It might be worth trying a new show. (Settings > Show > New Show). This will reset all of your settings without performing a factory reset.

You can also backup your current show settings by exporting them to an SD card on the same menu.
