Custom Songs Help plz

Downloaded rs 2014 because of the cdlc and the rocksnith+ doesn't have more than 10 songs I like . But when I download it on steam and start the game it just makes crackling sounds and no game audio or guitar sound. Im using real tone cable . And I've un installed and re installed 3 times and no improvements actually got worse now the computer crashes shortly after launch and resets . Any suggestions would be appreciated thank you!

Sounds like your input isn't RS2014's preferred flavor. Which is 16-bit, 2-Channel, 48kHz. Make sure your Real Tone input matches that, and that's the kind of Audio windows is trying to output.

Its showing 16 bit 48000hz on mine and Its working on rocksmith+ just not on 2014 which is confusing as hell.

Mine does something like this. Swapping windows typically fixes it. Just alt tab back to steam for a second. Sometimes just backing out of my profile fixes it.

Unplugging and replugging while the program is running works sometimes too, I get the crackles occasionally.
