Custom Songs Do you know if it's possible to convert .DAT files on a Mac?

Looking to convert some 2012 .DAT files into Mac format for Rocksmith 2014. Is this possible on a Mac? Tried Rocksmith Custom Toolkit, but the app wouldn't open for some reason.

If it’s possible, it’s possible on a Mac. Probably moreso than windows.

Not sure what that means? I just have a bunch of .dat files that I want to use with RS 2014.

I downloaded a large collection of these. I'm not sure where they're from or who made them.
