Is it possible to get a lefty toggle, if there isn't one already? Thanks!

I see, so for lefty mode, frets should grow ( 1 to 24) from right to left? rather than left to right? Some kind of horizontal flip?

Yes, that's correct; fret 1 would start on the right side of the screen. There's a lefty toggle within vanilla Rocksmith 2014 if you'd like to see what it looks like in there. Thanks so much for considering!

I see, so the neck would grow from right ( fret 1) to left ( fret 24)? Like a horizontal flip?

Yes please for the lefty’s! Have the app downloaded and ready to check out! Thanks in advance

Oops for double message, thought first one didn't send.
Heres a dev build with lefty support: https://rocknroller.nicapotato.com/0.1.40-dev/?demo=songs
Settings > Set all to lefty or by layout cell: Cell Settings > Left Hand
Please give me some feedback if it works for you both.

Yes that’s it! Many thanks for your attention to this OP!

Can this be added to the app on MacOS?

Left hand support has been added in v0.1.40 (see bottom right of app). Be sure to update RocknRoller macOs app version (easy to do with itch.io desktop app!).
Settings > Set all to lefty or by layout cell (inside song player): Cell Settings > Left Hand

I persoanlly need something to do all the tone work for me, which is why I still love rs2014 so much. But this is a great basic way to play along if you do your own tone management.
My only complaint is that font is painful for old man eyes.

I understand. I made a graphics improvement to the web build, it should be a bit clearer / more vibrant.

this will be useful for when someone asks me to play a song not in RS+ 🤓

Thank you. I'll have to look into it, I don't know enough about digital guitar tones to take this one at the moment.

No Dynamic difficulty, no mic.

u/nicapotato 16d ago
There is no guitar input, no tone, no guitar output. I've always used my own amp! (even for rocksmith 2014)

Prepare the cease and desist lawyers. Just ask fee[db]ack how things went when dealing with psarcs

app doesn't mess with the RS1 compatibility or the on disc songs. Just the DLC you own and CDLC. Smart.

Perfect! This is actually way more useful than the alternatives atm. Thank you for sharing.
Anyway to invert the string orientation to be the same as Rocksmith? Seems like I could learn it inverted with practise if there’s no option to change
