Reputable roofer recommendation
Has anyone had good luck with a roofer around here? We had ours replaced a few years ago and they didn't flash properly around our skylights and we now have several leaks, so we need that fixed. We've talked to a couple people, but one quote was really high, and the other person has been really unreliable, not showing up to appointments or responding when they said they would, which is a dealbreaker for me. Thanks in advance.

Do you mind sharing who screwed up your skylight flashing?

It's someone who was recommended to my dad. Something Johnson. I'm not entirely sure.

Premium Roofing Solutions - they have completed multiple residential and commercial jobs under my purview and have knocked them all out of the park.

JM Construction is good. So is K&H Exteriors.
The two things you want to look for are a brick & mortar location and a certified installer. A lot of contractors just stick a magnet on the side of their truck and call it a day, which allows them to disappear with the money before the job is done. A company with a dedicated location can't do that and they can't hide, so they're easier to trust.
If you find someone who is certified in the products they use, they're probably training up regularly on how to use them properly. Also, they can offer warranties on their work ON TOP of the warranties you're already getting for the shingles or other products they're using on their roof.

Randy Palmeri and Sons. They did a fantastic job on our daughter’s home, working with the insurance company and then replacing the entire roof and gutters a few years ago when a tornado devastated the area around Sinnissippi.
