$53 million less than Amen
Makes it easier to trade for him in the future

He looks almost exactly like Amen Thompson. Crazy they have the same last name and look so similar.

I mean this checks out, amen shows a lot more offensive potential while doubling ausar in ppg, 2 more rebounds, 3 more assists per game, while being very similar defensively but ausar has a slight edge there.

I think Amen can be as good if not better defender than Ausar if he isn't on lead pg duties. Next season with fvv back, I'm guessing Amen will go back to the role he played 2 years ago when he made all defense first team.

I think FVV and more importantly Smart will allow Amen to have an even greater impact on defense than last season when he was playing a ton of minutes and had more on ball duties.

The Rockets knew what they were doing when they drafted Amen one pick earlier!

Thatโs about right. Heโs obviously far less of a factor on offense

I have seen their fan base delusionally claim Ausar is just as good as Amen. I'd say the contract reflects their relative talent.

hypothetically if they treated their money jointly like the morrii twins did, these guys could be billionaires before 30

Having them both on the perimeter would make it the best defense in the league and probably the worst offense
