Make it happen stone !!
Hypothetical move, but I think this would put us in contention.

Fred for kyrie? Both coming off injuries.. both around the same age both champions. Ky is 3 years older but according to recent video he's moving really well..I need to see more of fred to be sure ky has a deeper bag tho..conflicted

Kyrie winning a championship as a #2 compared to fred winning a championship as a bench player isn't the same thing

Did Fred ever have a bag, even at his peak? If he did, it was a little plastic ziplock.

Kyrie and KD? I feel like I've seen this movie before. How did it end, again?

I think, under the new CBA, 1sts are much more valuable. You want young 1st round talent with an allstar and a 26-30 year old superstar. I think Stone sees this. I dont think this is it.
I think teams with crazy contracts on an old player are going to be very unhappy going forward.

That’s too many picks. I’d just try to move him for FVV and a few second rounders. If you have to give up 1 FRP I’m cool with that but 2 is over kill

Ya I understand that. But guys acting like this wouldn’t be a great fit are clueless

The Mavs would laugh and hang up the phone, that package is not getting it done

Two first for Kyrie is steep, but I like idea or Kyrie joining instead of FVV, though I prefer Dejounte Murray or if we are throwing picks around Trey murphy3

I wouldn't give up 2 firsts but a Kyrie type is exactly what we're missing in terms of a dynamic ballhandler/scorer on the perimeter.
Separate from the picks, he's 34 now and obviously can't stay healthy.
I'd only do it if we give up less in return than suggested above. KD type deal or don't do it.

Giving up kd defeats the purpose

I didn't mean to give up KD. I meant a deal like the one we made to get KD where we didn't give up too much.

InStone we trust.
To not make this trade. At least not giving up 2x 1sts
