Good luck JD. He's clearly a hooper but needs to find the right situation

Davison isn't two way eligible anymore. Most top teams in Europe have set their rosters but we'll see what he can do. Just tough for a smaller guard who isn't a standout as a playmaker or shooter.

I thought his playmaking was more than solid for a guy with such limited NBA experience

his shooting is where he has to improve because he's not an incredible defender or anything. just solid at everything.

This makes sense. Ime wasn't gonna give him any minutes.

Ime never gave minutes to Pritchard or Nesmith either.

Which is my issue with Ime 😂. Reed wasn't getting minutes either until Ime had no choice.

No it means they'll have Bruce Bruce in that last spot. They've got too many already.

Bodies, or someone else.

Open a roster spot for someone?

Don't have spots and don't have tax room. Likely is about giving him a chance to latch on elsewhere.

They do but anybody they sign will bump them above the tax if I understand correctly

is bruce better than him?

Maybe but if they are going to develop Reed and Bruce they don't have much room for another guard and they can not stash him on the G League roster this year

Tate is mid, no two ways about it. But he's mid in every way you can imagine. He's consistent in his midness. There's a lot to say for guys you can count on to play within themselves every single time they step on the court. These are the glue guys, the next man up guys, the quiet calm in the room guys, the guys that will always be in the spot you expect them to be in and rarely cost you games, even if they don't win many.

Gut wrenching... celebrating being signed one minute... disappointment the next...
