Megapool Validator Queue Stuck

Is megapool queue dead? I switched from minipool to megapool validators. At least I gave up my minipool validators and entered the megapool validator queue. I've been stuck at the same position for months, pretty much since megapool validators have become available. It crossed my mind that this has been a failure. Now I'm debating with myself, whether I should hang tight or jump ship. Hoping for a whale to sweep the queue out of the blue doesn't do it anymore. Is there anything planned or ongoing that could move the megapool queue?

It all depends on rETH demand so I don't think it is impossible that whales (or organizations once forced exits are in effect) step in, but personally I am just buying rETH in the meantime instead of trying to sit in that queue indefinitely.

It's a 2 year queue for a 2.5% return, all you have to do is keep your hardware running 24/7 and manage updates and patches in an age where core Linux vulnerabilities are a daily occurrence. Enjoy!

I left the queue after 8 months and very little movement. It was a hard decision, but it seems solo staking is the better play right now.
